My husband and I loved our stay at Villa Solvorn. Our hosts, Oscar, Eva and their daughter Alvide, made us very welcome. Solvorn is a charming village on the fjord, and their house is in a great location, close to the waterfront, a cafe, grocery store and hiking paths. Guests stay in the clean and freshly renovated bedrooms upstairs, and have the open and airy living room and dining room to relax in, all with great views of the fjord and surrounding farmland and stunning cliffs. Oscar prepared a delicious breakfast each morning and helped us with whatever we needed for our visit. We rented his electric bicycles and had so much fun riding on a beautiful road along the fjord to an old stave church and waterfall. We ate fresh strawberries out of Eva's garden and cooked our dinner one of the nights in the kitchen, as it was a little chilly to eat outside in their grill. They were very gracious hosts. Highly recommended!
We couldn't have enjoyed our stay here more! The house and the yard were absolutely beautiful and looked like something out of a magazine. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we slept better than we had in the previous two weeks of traveling. In the mornings we woke and hiked, paddled kayaks, rode bikes, or just sat on our balcony attached to her bedroom and watched the water while we sipped on our tea. Our hosts were charming, informational, very kind, and a sincere pleasure to spend time with. Plus, the breakfasts were fantastic. We stayed here three nights and wished we could've stayed 10 times longer!
Very nice and helpful host! Breakfast was rich and delicious! Our room was very cozy clean and nice with a adorable balcony. Amazing view to the fjord. Both bathrooms very clean. We enjoyed our stay and can really recommend the Villa Solvornn to everone who is planning a trip to Norway! Everything was absolutely perfect!

A nice place for bed and breakfeast in a lovley scenery. Nice rooms with fresh roses and good atmosphere. Excellent service and good breakfast, the bread is special good.
Very good location near the fjord in the Western part of Norway. Short trip for mountain walking and to the old Urnes stave church.
This is a new guest house, and I think it will be popular. Maybe each room could have had their own bath room, but it is no problem to share it with other rooms.
Extremely cosy house. Clean, nicely decorated with a warm atmosphere. Really caring and friendly hosts! Tasty breakfast. Beautiful sleepy hollow located at the rim of the fjord. We only stayed one night passing through but hopefully we'll be back soon!
